LHU, in collaboration with the Office of International Education Scholarships on March 25, 2025 organized a consultation program on studying abroad in Taiwan, notably focusing on transfer and paid master's degree programs. The event provided LHU students with detailed information about scholarships and academic programs while opening up exciting study-abroad opportunities, enabling them to clearly orient their academic paths and future careers.
Attending the event, from LHU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice Rector; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh – Head of the Office of International Affairs; along with numerous interested faculty members and students. The International Education Scholarship Office was represented by Mr. Nguyen Duc Luan - Admissions Director and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh - In charge of Student Support.
LHU has partnered with the Office of International Education Scholarships since 2022. To date, 4 students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies have participated in the transfer program, while 9 students from the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics have enrolled in master's programs introduced by the Office.
This event marks another milestone in the strong partnership between the two sides, bringing high-quality study-abroad opportunities to LHU students. Beyond access to an advanced education system, the partnership offers career development in a professional international environment.
The advisory program provided LHU students with valuable insights and exclusive opportunities. Notably, the master's scholarship programs offer attractive financial support, covering up to 100% of tuition fees, helping students ease their financial burdens. Additionally, students can participate in paid internships ranging from 12 to 25 million VND per month, allowing them to gain hands-on experience while sustaining their studies and living expenses. The internationally recognized master’s degrees awarded by Taiwanese universities also further open career opportunities and make students more competitive in the global job market. Not only for postgraduate level, the program also offers transfer opportunities for third and fourth-year students, allowing them to experience an international learning environment while still studying in Vietnam.
The program saw active engagement from students. In addition to receiving valuable information from the Office representatives, many students eagerly asked questions regarding application requirements, benefits, and registration procedures. Concerns related to language requirements, selection processes, and financial support were also addressed during the program.
Through this program, LHU solidifies its role as a bridge connecting students with high-quality international study and career opportunities. In the coming time, the University will continue expanding its collaborations with global educational institutions, providing even more attractive programs for students. The continuous update and connection with international scholarship programs is a clear testament to LHU's commitment to enhancing educational quality and creating an advanced learning environment for students.
With the excellent opportunities provided, LHU students are expected to make the most of them to develop their careers and integrate into the global environment.
