Quality Accreditation

In an era where the quality of education is pivotal for global competitiveness, accreditation plays an essential role in enhancing the credibility, operational effectiveness, and sustainability of educational institutions. Lac Hong University (LHU), located in Dong Nai, Vietnam, has recently achieved significant milestones in its educational journey by obtaining prestigious national and international accreditations. These recognitions underscore the university's commitment to improving educational quality, promoting sustainable development, and preparing future generations for the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

National Institutional Accreditation:

LHU has been awarded the 2nd cycle Certificate of Institutional Accreditation by the VNU-HCM Center for Education Accreditation, meeting the rigorous standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training. This achievement, officially recognized on September 26th, 2023, marks a pivotal moment for the first university in Dong Nai.  

Following an external evaluation from June 20-24, 2023, LHU was found to satisfy all 25 standards across four key areas: strategy, system, performance, and outcomes. The VNU-HCM Council for Education Quality Assurance unanimously approved these findings in Resolution No. 51/NQ-HĐKĐCLGD.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam, Director of CEA-VNUHCM, highlighted LHU's strengths in its people, strategic planning, digital transformation, and systematic quality assurance activities. This accreditation reinforces LHU's dedication to enhancing teaching, research, and training quality, thereby boosting its reputation and ensuring students receive an education aligned with international standards.

International Institutional Accreditation:

LHU has also achieved a landmark by becoming the first university in Vietnam to be awarded the AUN-QA Version 3.0 Institutional Quality Assurance Certificate. This recognition from the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) signifies LHU's adherence to the latest standards, which emphasize sustainable development.  

The AUN-QA 3.0 framework, comprising 15 standards and 60 criteria, focuses on strategic quality assurance, system quality assurance, and functional quality assurance. LHU's achievement places it among the leading institutions in Southeast Asia, demonstrating its commitment to global standards and sustainable practices.

LHU's dedication to quality extends to its academic programs, with 14 programs achieving AUN-QA certification between 2019 and 2023. Specifically:
