ASU Master Class: “Stress and Coping in Social Relationships” – Accompanying Students in Emotional Management and Global Integration

As part of a series of advanced academic initiatives aimed at fostering global competencies for learners, on the morning of May 16, 2026, the Faculty of English Language (FEL) at Lac Hong University successfully hosted an ASU Master Class titled “Stress and Coping in Social Relationships.”

In modern academic and daily environments, pressure from studies and social relationships is inevitable. The workshop highlighted the importance of helping students identify key stressors, thereby enabling them to proactively build a resilient psychological foundation. Using an interactive approach, the seminar equipped students with comprehensive emotional management competencies through two core components:

Analyzing Stress: Guiding students to recognize and analyze the root causes of stress in their studies, work, and daily lives.

Coping Strategies: Instructing the application of systems thinking to teamwork activities, allowing students to co-design, discuss, and present scientific and effective solutions for conflict resolution and stress management.

Moving beyond the acquisition of psychosocial knowledge, this ASU Master Class served as a practical arena for young individuals to hone their soft skills. The entire program was conducted in English, providing an immersive environment for students to sharpen their critical communication, teamwork mindsets, and public speaking fluency. The event further solidifies Lac Hong University's commitment to international-standard education within the ASU – Cintana strategic partner network. Through these initiatives, the university continuously pledges to deliver practical values that foster well-rounded student development, combining professional expertise with global integration capabilities.

The ASU Master Class workshop series will continue to be held periodically with innovative topics aligned with contemporary global trends. See you all in our upcoming sessions!
