On the morning of December 1, 2025, at Room B203 – Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting formally welcomed Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Deputy Director of the Import–Export Department of Vietnam, together with the delegation from the Vietnam Logistics Human Resources Development Association (VALOMA), for a meeting on collaborative initiatives and a visit to the University’s training facilities.

The working session aimed to enhance strategic partnerships between the University and reputable governmental bodies and professional associations, while providing a platform for academic exchange on trends in import–export activities, human resource demands in logistics, and new competency requirements in the context of digital transformation. This engagement represents a significant step in bridging academic training with industry practice, contributing to improved teaching quality, research capacity, and professional skills for students.

Representing the University was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice President of Lac Hong University. From the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, the meeting was attended by Dr. Nguyen Van Hai – Vice Dean, along with lecturers from the Logistics and Supply Chain Management major. During the discussion, both sides focused on strengthening industry engagement in academic programs, developing logistics practice models, expanding internship and practicum opportunities, and designing curricula aligned with real-world industry needs.

Following the formal discussion, the delegation was guided on a tour of the Logistics Practice Room and the University’s training facilities. The visit provided delegates with a comprehensive view of the institution’s training capacity and its strategic direction in developing a high-quality logistics workforce.

The working session concluded successfully, opening promising prospects for future collaboration between Lac Hong University and key stakeholders in the national import–export and logistics sectors. This partnership lays an essential foundation for advancing seminars, internship programs, research activities, and professional skill development for students.
